Berlin, NJ WW/Press/ May 2, 2017 – Mary Ellen Deegan-Giberson, Superintendent of the Berlin Cemetery Association was selected for inclusion in the forthcoming Top Professional of North America 2017 edition of The Who’s Who Directories.

The accomplishments and achievements attained by Ms. Mary Ellen Deegan- Giberson in the field of Burial and Cremation Services warrants inclusion into The Top Professional of North America. The Historic Berlin Cemetery, Founded in 1766, is a non-profit, non-sectarian association which offers traditional in-ground interment, and to meet the needs of a changing society, a Mausoleum for those who prefer above ground interment, and Columbariums to accommodate cremains. Through 241 years and more than 14,000 interments, the now 27 acre facility has been the sanctuary where survivors come to affirm lives well-lived in an environment of serenity. Berlin Cemetery is a repository of history.  America’s first Eagle Scout (Arthur Eldridge) lies here, as does Carlton Rouh, who in WWII earned the Congressional Medal of Honor. Victims of the undeclared war inflicted upon the U.S. by terrorists are here too; The Owens Family rest side by side here following their deaths in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. From all points of the globe, families continue to bring loved ones home to Berlin Cemetery. Ms. Giberson is responsible for all cemetery personnel, ground maintenance and upkeep, as well as meeting with families to set up funeral services.

Ms. Giberson is a member of the NJIA, NJBA, and the Historical Society.
